As part of their June Bank Holiday Road Safety Campaign,
Centra and the Road Safety Authority teamed up with 2FM
to offer listeners the chance to win a Fiat Grande Punto,
the first car in its class to achieve a Euro NCAP 5-star
safety rating.

Co. Louth woman, Charlene Finnegan, was the lucky winner of
the car on 2FM’s Will Leahy Show and received the keys
to her new car at RTE Studios in Limerick recently.
The week long campaign offered basic advice on staying alert
while driving and the key message from Centra and the Road
Safety Authority over the June Bank Holiday weekend was that
“A tired driver can be just as dangerous as someone
driving over the legal drink-drive limit, so make sure to
take regular breaks when travelling long distances.”
Free coffee for designated drivers was also offered by 28
key Centra stores on the main motorway routes over the June
Bank Holiday weekend.
