RUGBY STARS OF THE FUTURE INVITED TO SIGN UP FOR ACTION-PACKED RUGBY FUN AT CENTRA RUGBY CAMPS

Irish and Leinster rugby stars, Sean O’Brien, Kevin McLoughlin and Bernard Jackman lined out in Riverview, Clonskeagh to launch the Centra Rugby Summer Camps, 2010. The rugby stars were joined by 7 year olds, Owen Murphy and Kevin Traynor who got a valuable insight into the sort of advice and tips they can expect to pick up when they register to attend one of the Centra camps running throughout Leinster, Munster and Connacht this summer.

This is the third year of Centra’s sponsorship of the provincial rugby camps. The camps offer young rugby fans an opportunity to improve their skills and techniques with a panel of top coaches who are all qualified at mini rugby level under the IRFU Coach Development Pathway. Each camp runs for one full week and offers parents the ideal way to encourage kids to keep fit and healthy during the summer months, while also learning much more about playing one of Ireland’s most popular sports.

As with previous years, one of the highlights of the camps will be the opportunity for participants to meet their rugby heroes as members of the provincial squads will make special appearances at camps in their area throughout the summer. All those who register for the Centra camps will also receive an official Centra summer rugby camp pack containing their very own rugby kit and merchandise.

This year, Centra has added an exciting opportunity for young rugby fans in Leinster with the news that all those who register for a Leinster Centra Summer Rugby Camp will go into a draw to become the official Leinster mascot for the team's very first Magners League 2010-2011 home fixture. Other exciting opportunities for participants in Munster and Connacht Centra Rugby Camps will be announced in the coming weeks.
